The Inter-School Science Competition was held on the 14th of December 2024 (Saturday) at Delia Memorial School (Glee Path). The competition focused on the Science Demonstration Competition in 'Environmental Science and Engineering.' It aimed to enhance students' understanding of scientific concepts and technological advancements related to Environmental Science and Engineering, fostering collaboration and providing a platform for students from different Delia branches to share experiences and learn from each other.

Teams of four students from each school develop the content of a science demonstration based on a selected topic in Renewable Energy Technologies (S1-S3) and Sustainable and Green Engineering (S4-S5). They present the science demonstration to the other students using props or hands-on experiments to convey scientific concepts and phenomena.

The competition provided a platform for students to share their learning experiences and appreciate others’ work. This competition also encourages teamwork, collaboration, and effective communication. Students have had the opportunity to work together, exchange ideas, and learn from one another's strengths. These experiences not only enhance their  enhance students’ presentation, communication, and collaboration skills but also equip them with essential life skills that will serve them well in their future endeavors. We hope this competition has inspired both teachers and students to continue pursuing their scientific passions and sharing their knowledge with others.
