Through the Inter-school Sports Competition, we aimed at enhancing the cooperation among students, developing their positive attitudes and proper values, and helping them to realize the spirit of ‘Friendship comes first, competition comes second’. An Inter-School Sports Competition was held on 7th December 2024 at Delia Memorial School (Broadway). We choose “Dodgeball” as our competition event in this year.

 

There were 110 students from different branch schools joined the competition. They reported at Delia Broadway at 9:30 am with their teachers on the competition day.  There were two divisions for senior grade for boys and girls mixed and junior grade for boys and girls mixed event.  Each group had ten minutes to prepare before they started the competition.

 

All students enjoyed themselves much during the process.  When the games started, the students cheered for their school. The atmosphere was good and exciting. The students showed their spirit and spent their effort on the games.

 

Refer to the evaluation of the teachers, everyone is enjoy this competition.  It all depended on all adjudicators and student helpers showed their professionalism and the adjudication criteria were fair enough for students.

我們希望透過是次聯校體育比賽來增進學生的合作能力、啟發他們發展正確的態度和價值觀。而是次比賽的精神是 “友誼第一、比賽第二”。 故我們藉着是次聯校活動來增進各校學生的友誼。

 

聯校體育比賽於二零二四年十二月七日假美孚地利亞百老匯分校進行。當日比賽項目為閃避球，各分校合共派出110位運動健兒參加比賽，他們全都在早上九時三十分前到達本校報到。比賽分男女子混合高級組及男子女子混合初級組及以單循環賽制進行，而於每組比賽前，安排十分鐘作賽前練習。

 

比賽當日氣氛十分熱烈，運動員在場上拼命作賽，隊友在看台上為健兒們不斷打氣，氣氛十分高漲。在場的參賽者及觀眾都十分投入。

 

當日比賽之得以順利進行，全賴各分校老師及學生的鼎力協助，在此感謝他們的專業及認真態度，令比賽在公平及順利的環境下進行。
